WHO WE ARE
imagik™ (em-mah-jik, as in Imagination + Magic. Slightly uncreative? Maybe. But Robot + Blocks is also lazy.) is a (in-development) free online sandbox platform designed to allow people of all ages to create your own game and invite friends to play!

We are not affiliated with anybody, but we believe the root inspiration of what we're doing is obvious and will certainly become more obvious as time goes on.

Out of the gate, we are to eventually become a FOR PROFIT company. We aim to be privately held, to preserve the values and spirit of what founded the platform. Currently, there is no business behind imagik, and is ran solely by Havoc Crenshaw.

Despite this, we're a spiritual successor to what our inspirations laid down. Yes, we'll tread the same path, but we will not trip over the same branches. We will not stick our feet in the same mud holes.

We're bringing back the fun. The magic. The art. The community.

Get ready to Build It, Be It.

OUR GOALS
We have three main goals.

First and foremost, we want to be a trust worthy operation. The entire point of this is to combat the rot of modern corporatism and it would be a grave failure by us if we didn't deliver on this front.

Secondly, we want to foster a strong community. We want people to have fun here, to want to come back, to feel like they're apart of a great community and platform, to feel welcome, to feel like they matter, (they very much do!) and importantly to feel 100% safe. This is absolutely key in our model.

Thirdly, we want to deliver the absolute best platform we can. We're not gonna say we're gonna have the best platform ever, that's just plain impossible. (Especially with a solo developer juggling all this by themselves alone so far) But we can guarantee that our platform is to the best that we could possibly make it, through pure dedication.

THE FUTURE
From here, it's all development.

From the ground up, most of everything is custom. The rough footsteps when it comes to the development of the engine software are: And throughout the meantime, the website will get attention as well, preparing to foster the engine as it's home, and to foster the community. Some website features we're looking forward to: Overall, it's very exciting! We've got a lot to work to do, and we're working real hard to get it done.
